This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay on one site and appear in the site navigation (in most themes). Many people start with the “About” page, which introduces them to potential website visitors. It could say something like:
Hello! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night and this is my website. I live in Los Angeles, I have a big dog named Pep and I like pina colada. (And I’ll get caught in the rain.)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Appliances company was established in 1971, and has been providing quality appliances to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of wonderful things for the Gotham community.
As a new WordPress user, you should go to the dashboard to delete this page and create new content pages. Have fun!
