Introducing RurAll: the Network of Regenerative Rural Tourism Experiences

The RurAll Network is presented as a key initiative to revitalize rural areas facing depopulation in Spain, focusing on sustainable tourism as a catalyst for change. This platform highlights and strengthens existing tourism experiences in these territories while generating new opportunities for local communities and entrepreneurs, who can offer their services and collaborate in this transformation.

What does RurAll offer?
RurAll (rurall.es) positions itself as a bridge between travelers and local communities, providing a platform that connects various local entrepreneurs and entities operating in the field of rural tourism. RurAll offers tourism experiences in the provinces of Jaén, Teruel, Guadalajara, and Segovia, although it is expected that other regions from across the country will be incorporated in the future.

The network offers visitors a variety of activities that showcase the cultural and natural richness of these areas. Food lovers can indulge in local products, such as craft beer, through experiences designed to savor the essence of the territory. For those looking to connect with nature, olive tourism provides routes through unique, restored olive groves, while outdoor activities like hiking, smart biking, and stargazing encourage appreciation of the natural surroundings. Additionally, ethnotourism allows travelers to delve into the cultural traditions of the region through interactive workshops, creating an immersive experience that celebrates local heritage.

With this proposal, RurAll aims to revitalize rural communities through inclusive and sustainable tourism experiences that benefit both visitors and local residents and small entrepreneurs.

Who can participate?
The RurAll network is open to companies and entities that offer tourism experiences in rural areas of Spain. To become members, they must meet certain criteria, such as being located in rural areas, committing to inclusion and accessibility, creating employment, promoting sustainability, actively engaging the local community, fostering equality and diversity, and collaborating with other network members.

Commitment to Regenerative Tourism
RurAll aligns with the goal of promoting a regenerative tourism model focused on revitalizing the economic, social, and cultural aspects of the territories. The consortium behind RurAll is made up of organizations committed to sustainable development in rural areas, such as Aethnic, Ideas for Change, Sentir el Alto Tajo, Membranding, and Apadrinaunolivo.org.
