The Gambia National Television (GRTS) has covered the launch on April 17 in Banjul of the “No Woman Left Behind” project that we promote Aethnic, the Institute of Travel and Tourism of The Gambia (ITTOG) and the Gender Platform .

Throughout 2021, the project trains up to 30 women in vulnerable situations as TRS professionals (responsible and sustainable tourism) and will accompany them in their job insertion and empowerment in human and gender rights.

The project has the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya through the Catalan Cooperation Agency (ACCD).

The public launch of the project was attended by the Minister of Women, Social Affairs and Children, Mr. Kajali Sonko, from the Director of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Dr. Black Omar Barry. And naturally, of the 30 women enrolled in the Training Course.

On behalf of the local project, Sheik Tejan Nyang, director of ITTOG, Dr. Adama Bah, president of ITTOG and local manager of the Project, and Mrs. Tabou Sarr, president of the Gender Platform.

On behalf of Aethnic, the Project director, Jordi Tolrà and the president of the Association, Jesús Martín, took part in the event.
