We are pleased to announce the publication of the Report “Gender Perspective and LGBTIQ+ Collective; a Challenge for Inclusion in the Barcelona Tourism Sector” developed within the framework of the “LGBTIQ+ Tourism” project, carried out with the support of Barcelona City Council.

This document comprises a total of 9 chapters through which the reader will be able to learn about the history of the LGBTIQ+ community, the current legislative context (both at state and regional level), the link between the tourism sector and the LGBTIQ+ community and a series of good practices and opportunities for improvement identified during a diagnosis carried out in hotel establishments in the Sant Martí District (Barcelona).

The report aims to provide new knowledge to the tourism sector in order to improve the management of sexual and gender diversity and inspire companies in the sector with the good practices identified.
