Senegal and Guinea Bissau, from the animist choir of the Casamance to the magical tradition of the Carnival of Bissau. An exclusive and remote destination, ideal for combining sea and land, with its continental part and the other island, the Bijagos archipelago, with an overflowing nature. The inhabitants of the Bijagos live together and respect the nature that surrounds them for their survival. You will admire its fauna and flora that has adapted to the saline conditions of the coast. In addition, you will learn about their ancestral and animist culture, their traditional music accompanied by the magical Mandinga kora through renowned local musicians. Contact with local people and cultural exchange will be the axes that will guide the trip, offering an experience characterized by a commitment to responsible tourism and the authenticity of the experiences lived.

Groups : The group capacity is a maximum of 12 people and a minimum of 2 people. Both for regular outings and for tailor-made outings.

Distances : For your peace of mind, we consider special routes for customers who want to make this type of trip. Taking special care that the routes are not very long or very heavy for those who want to start in this type of travel.

Accommodations : We have looked for accommodation (within the characteristics of each trip and the country) where you can feel at ease.

Meals : We have taken into account the issue of diet throughout the route. Our accompanying guide will always be ready to accompany and/or recommend places.

Transport : Minibus with driver. Depending on the final number of people, the trip will be made in one or two small minibuses to make the route as easy as possible. All of our vehicles are minibuses dedicated to tourism, which are subject to a series of comprehensive mandatory inspections by the State.

Accompanying guides: All our drivers, as well as our guide, speak Spanish perfectly. The people who will always be accompanying the group are people with a special gift to be able to face the different situations that may arise during the route. They also have extensive knowledge to answer the doubts of young and old. Since he is someone who knows Guinea Bissau, his tasks include informing you about the possibilities offered by each place and suggesting activities, even if you don’t necessarily have to participate. You can modify the route only for fully justified reasons and for the smooth development of the trip.

Documentation : Both adults and minors must bring a valid passport, which must not expire before 6 months after arriving in Bissau.

Visa: Spaniards, including minors, need an entry visa that must be issued on a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months. The visa must be requested from the Consular Section of the Embassy of Guinea Bissau in Madrid, whose address and telephone number appear at the beginning of these travel recommendations.

Airport: We recommend that you always carry a pen to fill in the police control documents, and always have the reservation we send you with you, as well as the name of the accommodation for the first night in Bissau.

Luggage : We recommend traveling as light as possible. Temperatures range between 25-30º and can cool down during the night, a sweater or windbreaker is recommended. Sunglasses, cap, sunscreen, etc. No need to bring sleeping bags or blankets. Bring a towel and flip-flops for the shower.

Currency: The cfa franc is the local currency of Bissau and the equivalent is 650 cfa = €1. There is no difficulty in exchanging or getting cash through credit cards. We recommend making the change at the exchange offices in Bissau. Not inside the airport.

Health: It is convenient to visit a tropical medicine center to inform us about the relevant vaccines. It is also important to consider the proximity and quality of international health centers during the trip. On the other hand, we will be careful with water and drinks, taking only bottled products that we will find without difficulty. If any specific treatment is to be followed, the medicines must be brought from Spain as in Bissau they may not be available in the local pharmacies. Although if they wish, it doesn’t hurt to bring antihistamines, anti-inflammatories and anti-diarrheals and anything specific they may need for their children.
