Accessible Tourism

Local Action

This 2023 Aethnic undertakes a new project in the Poblenou neighborhood to identify cases of good practice around accessible tourism.

It is a type of tourism that meets the needs of all visitors, including people with disabilities, the elderly, intergenerational families (for example, families with children), and people with temporary disabilities (for illnesses or injuries).

Targets

The aim of this work is to advance towards a sustainable tourism model that takes into account the needs of all people, regardless of their condition, and that generates comprehensive benefits for the entire destination. As a result, the project will present two new accessible tourist products or services that will have been co-generated with local agents in the neighborhood and that will contribute to enriching the tourist offer in Poblenou.

Over the next few months, the Aethnic team will be feeding this page with more information about the development of their project. Do not miss it!
